SPSA Series Race #6 Results

SPSA Series Race #5 Results

Sailors:

Please see attached for the race results for the Spinnaker, Cruising and Ideal-18 fleets. Despite some light winds, it was another fun day on the water with a great level of participation.
Congrats to J-Hawk for winning in the Spinnaker Division, Freelance for winning in the cruising division, and No Straws for winning in the Ideal-18 division!
Additionally, the winner of the Chili cook-off (for the second year in a row!) was Alicia McManaman.
Our next race is scheduled for Saturday, February 24th @ 11:00AM. We hope to see everybody out there for another fun day of racing.

Fwd: SPSA Series Race #5 Tomorrow

Sailors:

We are looking forward to our 5th SPSA Series race of the season tomorrow! We wanted to remind everybody that there will be a lot of boat traffic out there, as the J-Fest regatta hosted by SPYC will going on, so please keep an eye out. Additionally, we wanted to remind everybody that after the race (around 3:00pm) we will be hosting a chili cook-off at the Sailing Center, and we invite all members out to this event, even if you are unable to sail with us. There will be a table setup in the morning to drop crock-pots off.

Lastly, we have invited the Ideal 18’s out to join us this coming Saturday, and have setup a separate score sheet for this class. If anybody who has access to use these boats wants to join us, please sign up on the SPSA website under “Regattas”. The boats will be available from the Sailing Center on a first come, first sail basis, and we will hold a skippers meeting for Ideal 18 sailors at 9:30AM to review the (shorter) course they will sail. This will be a separate start from the Spinnaker & Cruising fleets.
