SPSA is excited to celebrate the joining of forces with the Dolphins Cruising Club of Tampa Bay through our SPSA Dolphins Cruising program! The Dolphins, with more than 30 years of cruising tradition, have brought a vibrant legacy of fellowship and adventure on the water. Their welcoming spirit now lives on within SPSA, adding a full calendar of cruising opportunities alongside our racing and social events.

This collaboration has created the best of both worlds: the energy and camaraderie of SPSA together with the rich cruising heritage of the Dolphins. To carry this forward, we established a Cruising Chair position on the SPSA Board in 2024, ensuring the Dolphins’ traditions continue to thrive as part of our community.

Our mission remains unchanged: to encourage participation in the noble art of sailing and to organize events that bring sailors together to enjoy it.
