Here’s your March 2020 list of SPSA events.
- March 3rd 6 PM Board Meeting at the Sailing Center. Be advised we might be standing around for a few minutes waiting for a useable space to open up. The high school sailors are sometimes finishing up. This is your chance to become a part of the SPSA planning. If you are new to the club, please try to attend one of our board meetings. You might have skills we need! Did you know volunteers on earth always eat first in heaven and hell? There’s a strong and undenied rumor that pizza and beers are available at these meetings.
- March 14 & 15. The next SPSA weekend cruising event is coming up on March 14/15. It turns out the same weekend the Tampa Sailing Squadron is organizing a weekend trip to Bradenton (Regatta Point or Twin Dolphin marinas). I am checking if we might tag along with them or alternatively we will organize something ourselves. If interested or for more information – please contact Robert Kryger at robert@kryger.biz.
- March 21st SPSA Series Races 13 and 14. 11 AM Start. You might expect shenanigans from our esteemed race committee.
- March 21st LUCK OF THE IRISH After the SPSA races we will have our annual St. Patrick’s Day party at the Sailing Center. In addition to the corn beef and cabbage pot luck dinner, we’ll be playing poker, blackjack, roulette and bingo for liquid trophies.
