We are sad to announce that the St Petersburg Classic Regatta is being postponed at this time. Due to conflicts with other events the registration was low this year and since this is a benefit for charity, we did not feel it appropriate to proceed. We are working to reschedule the event in September, and will announce it as soon as this is confirmed.
Participants that have preregistered can have your entry fee applied to the rescheduled event, refunded, or donated to Neighborly Care/Meals on Wheels. Please contact the firstname.lastname@example.org instructions for disposition of your entry fee.

Today, The Neighborly Care Network (Meals on Wheels) presented the St Petersburg Sailing Association with the Distinguished Image Award for all of our fundraising efforts over the years with the St Petersburg Classic Regatta. To date, we’ve raised almost $75,000 for them and we’re working hard to get to $100,000 with this year’s St Petersburg Classic Regatta.
Thanks to all the sailors who have participated and members who have worked so hard over the last 7 years to put on this event. This is coming up again soon. I would encourage everyone to attend the dinner even if you’re not sailing. You do not need to sail to win the Good Neighbor Award for raising money.
