Classic Regatta Saturday October 21st, 2023

Hello Sailors,
There is still time to register for the 14th Annual Classic Regatta – The Regatta for Good Old Boats!
The Classic Regatta, a fundraising event first conceived by SPSA leaders, debuted in  2010 and has supported the Meals – on – Wheels program providing nutritious meals to seniors in their home allowing them to maintain their independence. Last year sailors raised over $58,000.
Open to all boats at least 20 years old
Friendly pursuit style start
Post race awards banquet at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club
To find out more about the event go to https://neighborly.org/events/
Register for the Regatta at yachtscoring
You can access each registered boat's fundraising page at https://qtego.us/qlink/neighborly
Help spread the word! Let's make this a successful event. Encourage everyone you know that has a good old boat to participate. Let everyone you know that they can support the Meals on Wheels program and the registered boats by "voting/donating" to their fundraising campaign for the Good Neighbor Award. Invite as many folks as you can to come sail with you on Regatta Day!

If you have any questions, ideas to promote the event or need promotional material, please reach out to me at  commodore@spsa.us
*Note: There will be an amendment to the NOR coming soon regarding t-shirt (long sleeve performance shirts) sizes for registered skippers. Additional shirts will be at the events on Friday and Saturday.
See you out on the Bay!
